Comments: “We are particularly interested in applicants, academics and/or practitioners, whose research, teaching, and practice (1) have a strong theoretical awareness, and deeply engage substantive empirical, ethnographic, and/or historical materials; (2) center on the richly-informed study of environmental issues, problems, and debates in relation to America (broadly defined), especially questions of science and science studies, justice, inequality, race/ethnicity (and other social contrasts), sustainability, industry, state power, and public health; (3) speak to historical and/or contemporary public debates about environmental issues and problems, such as climate change, disasters, land use, indigeneity, and natural resources.”
