About this blog

I am Sarah Tuohey, Student Affairs Administrator at the Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture at the University of Chicago. On this blog I post opportunities — jobs, internships, fellowships, grants, CFPs, and the like — of interest to current and recent students working in the area(s) of race and ethnic studies and activism. Many graduate fellowships, postdocs, and assistant professorships listed are of general interest and open to students/PhDs/professionals working in race and/or ethnic studies. I do not necessarily include area studies positions such as African History unless they are informed to some extent by critical race/ethnic theory. VAPs and tenure-track positions listed are either highly race- or ethnic-studies relevant or open explicitly to scholars working in one or both of these areas.
