Comments: “The successful candidate for the Chamorro Studies faculty position is expected to (1) teach a normal load of 12 credits (or contact hours) per semester, with load allocations possible for research or instructional innovation, subject to the Dean’s approval; (2) maintain a continuous record of peer reviewed scholarly research on topics relevant to the Micronesian region; (3) perform university and community service under the auspices of MARC; (4) pursue local and national grants related to the program; (5) teach using a variety of modalities, including on-line distance education; (6) supervise and support students majoring in the program.”
